Patrick Poole Obituary

James Patrick (Pat) Poole, age 60, of Aliceville, Alabama passed away April 21, 2025 at Baldwins Lake, Aliceville, AL. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Dogwood Chapel with Rev. Charlie Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th Street NE in Aliceville, the family is asking for privacy at this time following the service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie and James Raymond Poole. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Poole; daughter, Erika Nicole Poole; son, Ryan Patrick Poole; sisters, Tina McAteer (Keith) and Shannon King (Scott); and a number of nieces and nephews. Patrick was born November 14, 1964, in Aliceville, Alabama, to the late Bessie and James Raymond Poole. He was a member of Aliceville First Baptist Church and a previous employee of Westervelt and McGee Lumber Inc. Honorary Pallbearers are Avery Lee, Eldred Moore, Cedrick Kirkman, Jeff White, Brach White, Dustin McGee and employees of Westervelt and McGee Lumber. The family sends their appreciation to Pickens County Sheriff Department, Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue Department, and the support of the local community. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Aliceville First Baptist Church, 323 Broad Street NW, Aliceville, AL 35442.
