Michael O'Donnell Obituary

Michael J. O'Donnell

Fairlee, VT — Michael J. O'Donnell, 40 passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 30, 2022 in Lynwood, Washington where he was currently residing,

Michael was born February 8th, 1982 in Hanover, NH. He grew up with his brother Scott in Fairlee, VT. working at the Lake Morey Country Club and attended high school at Hanover High. He then went on to graduate from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor's degree in nursing, which led him to start a career at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA. where he would work as an intensive care nurse for several years. He loved his job, co-workers, and taking care of his patients. Michael had the opportunity to advance within the facility and became a Nursing Admissions Coordinator for the entire hospital and was thriving in this role.

Michael enjoyed spending his free time with his 8 year old daughter, Rylie. He loved all of his family very much, but Rylie was his world. They spent many hours together roller blading, playing at the beach, and recently watching her compete in her frisbee games. Michael and Rylie would visit Vermont every summer to enjoy two weeks of vacation time with his family. One of his favorite things to do while in Fairlee was fly his drones over Lake Morey and the surrounding areas with his nephews and daughter attentively watching and "helping" any chance they could. That was usually followed by many water balloon fights/boating on the lake and cookouts. Michael was a joy to be around and was always happy to help others in any way he could. A genuine and kind man, that will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

Michael leaves behind his beloved daughter Rylie O' Donnell (Seattle, WA.), Grandparents Jim and Katherine O'Donnell (Fairlee, VT.), Father Gary O'Donnell (Fairlee, VT.), Mother and her husband Candace and Marc Daniell (Guilford, VT.) his sons Jeffrey Daniell (Clark's Summit, PA.) and Joey Daniell (Stowe, VT.), Brother Scott O'Donell and his wife Kelsi O'Donnell, three nephews, Kale, Ty and Kash O'Donnell (Fairlee, VT.), and many other friends and family members.

There will be no formal services held at this time. However a celebration of Michael's life will be held in the future.
