Brett Lawson Obituary

Brett J. Lawson, 42, of Templeton, formerly Lower Burrell, passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021. He was born in Lower Burrell, son of Curt Lawson (companion Toni Mohney). Brett died after years of suffering from drug addiction. He was employed as a laborer for Dawn Energy Services in Templeton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and spending time with his son, Gavyn. He was a member of the Widnoon Gun Club and an avid Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife, Beth Ann, and son, Gavyn, of Natrona Heights, two stepchildren, Justyce Smail and Garret Hloznik; his father, Curt Lawson (companion Toni Mohney); brother, Eric (Maria) Lawson, of Finland; niece, Elsa Lawson, and nephew, Ben Lawson; uncle, Bruce (Darlyn) Lawson, of Espyville, and aunt, Pamela (Jerry) Lacey, of Colorado. Brett was preceded in death by his mother, Diana Lawson. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Wednesday only with Pastor Brian Kilbert officiating at the FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME INC., Robert P. Karish, supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, 724-335-6500. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. Condolences are welcome at www.giglerfuneralhome.com.
