Bobby Crosby Obituary

Bobby Louis Crosby Jr., of West Newton, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023. He was born Nov. 22, 1978, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Vicki Johnston and Bobby Louis Crosby Sr., of Greensburg. He was a graduate of Yough High School and was working in Maine at the time of his death. He was an avid fisherman and he loved to hunt with his dad and son. He also loved riding dirt bikes with his son. He was a very proud father of both of his children and loved them dearly. Bobby Jr. was preceded in death by his mother, Vicki Johnston; sisters, Tracey Johnston and Tara Groff; and brother, Billy Johnston. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Terek Crosby, daughter, Deanna Crosby, and their mom, Kim Williams, all of West Newton; brothers, Kevin Johnston, Brian (Elyse) Johnston, Jeraurd Crosby, Robert Lee Crosby, Darnell Crosby and William Crosby, sister, Jodi Johnston, sister-in-law, Elyse Johnston; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Second Street, West Newton.
