Michael Gravinese Obituary

Michael L. Gravinese Sr. of New Hope, PA died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was 89. He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Verna J. Wisniewski Gravinese. Born in Norristown, PA he was the son of the late Philip and Anna Sanchez Gravinese, brother of the late Rachel Santoro, and father-in-law of the late John Dwyer Michael was a proud veteran of the Navy. He worked for many years in Financial Services and later with the United States Postal Service. He will be greatly missed but eternally loved as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. In addition to his beloved wife Verna, Michael is survived by his loving and devoted children; Diane Dwyer of King of Prussia, PA, Michael L. Gravinese Jr. and his wife Gerilyn of Norristown, PA, Cynthia Hoffer and her husband Cliff of Churchville, PA, and Pamela Gravinese of Norristown. PA. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Michael’s family will receive friends on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass at 11:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Rd. Doylestown, PA 18902. His interment will be private. In Lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to either the American Stroke Association, PO Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284 or to the National Veterans Foundation, 5777 West Century Blvd. Suite 350 Los Angeles, CA 90045. www.fluehr.com
