Debra Ann Bowman, 67, of Kensett, Ark., passed away on Dec. 24, 2021. She was born Sept. 25, 1954, in Bald Knob, Ark., to the late Ocleters and Eddie B. Pettis. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Arnold Tabernacle CME Church in Kensett.
Debra was preceded in death by her son, Marshall "Tank" Pettis; her parents; her grandmother, Earnestine Edwards; and brother, Cortez Pettis.
She is survived by her son, Travis Bowman, and daughter, Veronica Bowman; her grandchildren, Miracle Williams, Kavaris Bowman, Zakiayah Good, Madison Pettis, Savannah Braswell, Michael Good, Braylon Bowman and Oquoieah Earl; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Kayden Bowman and Bella Scrip; sisters, Patricia Pettis, Netra Washington, Jeanne Murry and Cassandra Nellum; and brothers, Lee Pettis, Ocleters Pettis Jr., Floyd Pettis Sr., Theopolis Pettis, Marshall Pettis, Jimmy Pettis, Arthur Vance and Barry Brown; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at Sullivan Funeral Care. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Arnold Tabernacle CME Church with burial following at Crow Cemetery.
