Richard Lombardi Obituary

Tough, strong, loving man who dealt with ups & downs graciously Richard Biagio Lombardi, born on December 15, 1943, lost his battle to COVID on the holy day of December 25, 2021. He fought hard just like he fought through his entire life. He was a tough, strong, loving man who dealt with the ups & downs of life so graciously. Born and proudly raised in Montclair, NJ & later moved to Bloomfield, NJ to raise his family who he loved more than anything. Richard is survived by his wife, Michele Lombardi who he loved so deeply until he took his last breath, and his three daughters, who he loved beyond words, Lisa, Caroline & Marie Elaine, & his son-in-law, Steven Innarella, his 7 grandchildren who he adored & was so proud of: Malena, Joey, Ava, Sofia, Nicholas, Anthony, & Domenic. He was predeceased by his father, Rocco Lombardi, and his mother, Lucy Lombardi. He left behind his sisters, Mildred LoCascio, Marie Elaine Massa, & his brother, Rocco "Butch" Lombardi. He is being laid out at Caggiano Funeral Parlor on Thursday, Dec. 30th, from 10-11:30 am, with a mass immediately following at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church in Montclair, NJ @ 12:00 pm.
