Tammy BELYEA Obituary

March 4, 1959 - December 18, 2023

Tammy Belyea passed away December 18, 2023, in Nine Mile Falls, WA, after a long battle with COPD.

Tammy was born March 4, 1959, in Spokane, WA, to Kenneth and Sheldeen Solverson. She was the youngest and only girl of four children in the family. She married the love of her life James Belyea in 1976 and they had two children, her family was the most important thing in her life. They lived on a farm in Nine Mile Falls for most of their lives and enjoyed a modern day life on the farm that included horses, cows, dirt bikes, ATV's etc. She worked at local school districts in supportive roles but most of her life was home maker.

She is survived by Jim Belyea, sons, Nathon and Kim Belyea of Nine Mile Falls, Josh Belyea of Nine Mile Falls, grandsons, Nathon Belyea Jr., and Sam Belyea, brothers, Dale Solverson and wife, Connie of Nine Mile Falls, David Solverson and wife, Sandi of Deer Park WA, and Darel Solverson and wife, Sandie of Mead WA, brother In-laws, Jeff Belyea and his family of Nine Mile Falls, and Steve Belyea and his family of Nine Mile Falls, as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Sheldeen Solverson, grandparents, Horace and Ella Solverson, and Patrick and Emily Fisher.

There are not any services planned at this time however a celebration of life may be arranged at a later date. We thank everyone for their love and support of her life especially the past few years that COPD slowly took her away and placed her in God's hands.

For those who would like to do something in her memory, Tammy would want a donation to a charity of your choice, go out to eat or a drink with family or friends or get yourself a chocolate treat (chocolate was a daily part of her diet).

My deepest sympathies to Jim and the boys. I grew up and went to school with Tammy. Tammy, Tracey, Debbie, and I were very close growing up. We shared all our hopes and dreams for our futures. Jim and the boys were her whole world. I really wished us four girls could´ve all gotten together one more time. God Bless her and her family.

Jimmy and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Tammy was a great friend to me when we worked together. I have often had her in my thoughts. Sad to hear she has passed. I know for a fact how hard COPD is on everyone as I just lost my husband Larry to the same thing just 17 days before Tammy. May peace become a part of our soul and keep all happy memories close at heart.
