Tammy Tyson-Johnson Obituary

Tammy Johnson, 58, passed away on Tuesday December 21, 2021, in Valencia CA. Tammy was born on March 7, 1963 to Ildiko Ann Fuchek and Ernest Thomas Tyson. She was the oldest of three children, brothers Ernest Thomas Tyson (Tom) and Steve Tyson.

Tammy attended Hart High School and graduated in 1981. Shortly after graduation, she married Michael Johnson and had two children, Amber Johnson and Erik Johnson.

Tammy spent her nights going to beauty school to do nails, was crafty and creative with gifts, recognition and celebration of all she knew and loved. What soon developed from part-time work in retail grew into a career with merchandise coordinating, allowing her to run the district in Southern California for Macy stores in their leather apparel, including Kenneth Cole, Betsy Johnson, and more. What Tammy loved most though, was taking care of her children and animals, always being the hostess-with-the-mostess, she provided food, shelter, and advice to all who needed it. Even though she went through a divorce and other trials, her strength and will led her to achieve medical degrees, a position as a librarian at a local public school, charity work, and fun-loving attitude with a mothering love. She cherished her Hungarian heritage, cooking and baking, gardening, bike riding, and just enjoyed all life had to offer. Her kindness and generosity will be her legacy, which will surpass her time here on Earth. Towards the end of her life, she enjoyed nature, the beach mostly, searching for heart shaped rocks, going to concerts, which became a renewed passion after finding her soul mate, Scott Morse.

She is survived by her children, Amber and Erik, her dog Leah, her brothers Tom and Steve, many friends and students, and her "My Him", Scott.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 2:00pm. 23400 Via Amado, Santa Clarita CA.
