I met Bill at WIU in 1964. What a nice man. I got several rides home to the Rockford area in his looong Dodge. He and I and another friend took his canoe up to Wisconsin (Green Lake) for a week fun trip in the summer of 1965. We ended up tipping in the middle of the lake. I have no idea why I lost contact with him. I am so sorry to hear he died.
