Diane Dodge Jacobsen
Diane worked for the Upper Lake Unified School District for 23 years, working at all three schools during her career: elementary, junior high and high school. She enjoyed her work tremendously and loved to see children succeed.
Diane retired to Chico, CA, to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She would visit with her children and grandchildren every week, either in person or over the phone. Diane enjoyed hearing the day to day activities of her family members and journaled daily, often writing about the "goings on" in the family. She left behind a treasure trove of handwritten journals that capture her family's history.
Diane is survived by her daughter and partner, Jennifer Williams and Marc Wysong; daughter and son-in-law, Morgan and Gary Manning; daughter and son-in-law, Katy and John Rollo; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sister and brother-in-law, Melinda and Greg Knepp.
