I misspelled Michele's name. She deserves better. The car may have been an Opel Kadet, stick shift not on the column. (?). The heater wasn't stuck. Steve caught rainbow trout at a riverside setting most idyllic. He wanted me to snag one, I never could much fish. Another glitch would only be noticed by the most eagle of eye. Namaste Michele.

I threw my two cents in on Facebook but Mr. Jensen's comment about Michelle as cook reminds a story. In the summer of 1970 the three of us were in The Big Dog's white Falcon for a trip to Seattle. Not a lot of money but high on the spirit of adventure. Manly caught trout, Mickey made corn bread from scratch. I watched in young amazement. "A little bit of heaven right here on earth." Thanks Steve. Thanks Michelle.

I have very fond memories of Michele. She was possessed of a classy natural elegance. She was well-read especially the classics, poetry and early feminist works. She believed in a spiritual life that traveled many different roads. Michele was an excellent cook and loved to host. She wrestled so long with the mental disorder that was not of her making. She was, deep down, a good and kind soul who was generous to a fault. Requiescat in pace, Michele.

Michelle loved music and poetry. Here's the first verse to Shooting Star by Bob Dylan. I encourage folks to give the whole song a listen, for yourself and "every hung up person in the whole wide universe....". Seen a shooting star tonight and I thought of you You were trying to break into another world A world I never knew I always kind of wondered If you ever made it through Seen a shooting star tonight And I thought of you
