Gary A. Clegg, 34, of Peru, passed away in the early hours of July 16, 2024 in Savannah Georgia. He was born March 04, 1990 to parents Gary L. Clegg and Michelle J. Clegg. Preceded in death by his beloved cats; Pepper (Sally Cooper) and Baldwin the Asian Beetle. Surviving family members include both parents, siblings; Shannon and Robert Clegg, one nephew; Samuel, and cat German the Mexican Worm.

Gary was one in a million, a true friend to all. His heart was immense, his intellect dazzling; born into a world that was simply too small to contain him. Refusing to live a traditional lifestyle, he roamed the beaches and rainforests of Hawaii, the peaks and gorges of Wyoming, the rivers and marshes of Georgia. He gathered shark teeth, reveled in skateboarding, and conquered every Mario game he ever played. He spread love and positivity throughout the land, even through his struggles and darkest days. A free and wild spirit, one that has finally been set free.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date, in the meantime- let's celebrate, have a toast, and raise our wands for the greatest wizard who ever lived.
