Richard Reynolds Obituary

Richard A. Reynolds, Jr., 67, of Hershey entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at UPMC Community Osteopathic. He was the widower of Naomi (Escalante) Reynolds. He was born on January 23, 1955 in Carlisle and was the loving son of the late Richard A. Sr. and Shirley (Yozviak) Reynolds. Richard was a member of the Devonshire Church, Lower Paxton Twp. He worked as a corrections officer at the Dauphin County Prison from where he retired. Richard enjoyed playing Pickleball and being with his church family who where very important to him. In addition to his parents and wife, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Brewbaker. Richard is survived by his brother, David M. Reynolds (Trudy) of Newport; sisters, Sherri L. McGeehan (James) of Mechanicsburg, Linda S. Feeny (Edward) of MD; two nieces, Brenda F. Maulik, Jenny R. Griffin; two great-nieces and a great-nephew. A tribute to Richard's life will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 260 E. Main St. Middletown, PA with Pastor Derek Thrush officiating. There will be a viewing from 12:30 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
