Michael Larios Obituary

Michael John Dominic Larios, age 39 of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Penn State Hampden Medical Center, Enola, PA. Born June 13, 1982 in Harrisburg, PA, Michael was the son of Martin Larios of Culpeper, VA and Catherine (Toone) Larios of Harrisburg. Michael was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School Class of 2000 and received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from York College. Michael was in his second year of law school with ambition to be a court attorney. He was experienced as an insurance claims adjuster and had a passion for stand-up comedy. Michael was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Harrisburg, the Knights of Columbus, and Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity. He towered at 6'-4" and was proud of winning second place at the Harrisburg Catch-A-Rising Star competition. Michael was a huge comedy fan, often participating in open mic appearances and cracking jokes around his family and friends. He was a movie and history buff and enjoyed boxing, running, reading, and hiking in national parks. Michael brought great joy and humor to those around him and will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his siblings Theresa Larios (Joel Kreider) of Mechanicsburg, Christopher Larios of Harrisburg, Alejandra and Alex Larios of Culpeper, VA and by his fiancé Marcy Devlin of Camp Hill. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 22, 2022 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church with visitation held from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Floral arrangements will be provided by the family.
