I remember the day we met, the first day of first grade. I sat next to a little red haired girl who was crying. All of Alayne's friends were in the other class, so we became friends. Twelve years later we headed to Penn State as roommates. No matter what came in life, Alayne held true to her faith and she is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Rest well, my friend.

We graduated together from high school and most recently discovered we had the same mutual motto in life "Dance as though no one is watching". My prayers to her family and friends during this time of grief.

I am so sad to see this news. Many of us knew Alayne from Single Impact at Hershey Free Church and enjoyed her friendliness and love of the Lord. We knew how much she loved her children and grandchildren - they were the loves of her life. Please accept my most sincere sympathy in your loss. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Alayne is in Glory, but the hearts of those she leaves behind are broken.

To Alayne´s family,
Our prayers are with you today and will be with you in the days ahead. What I will remember most about Alayne is her great wit (a Long legacy),her great laugh(also instilled in the Longs, especially the "girls"), and her wisdom. In spite of the heartaches in her life at times, she continued to rise above them and looked to the One who would renew her strength. She is now tucked securely and peacefully under His wings.
And for her family: Psalm 61:1-2
