I wanted to let the family know about my memories of Marguerite. I was cared for my Marguerite's mother shortly after I was born. My family and I became great friends with her mother who called me Lindalee. I was often as a young child at Marguerite's home visiting for a day to a few days and I distinctly remember playing with Marguerite and her sister, Esther after they got home from school. They each had a doll with a long tiered crocheted dress that I believe their mother made. They kept the dolls each on their own beds and as a toddler I wanted to play with the dolls. Although they were obviously precious to both girls they let me hold the dolls while they supervised. I later asked my parents for one and although not homemade I remembered so clearly those precious times with Marguerite and Esther. One of my clear feelings of really being loved was from their mother, Margaret and the girls. Oh and swiss chocolate, brezsili, and rosette cookies. Later when I was in my 30s their mother gave me some contacts in Switzerland who I visited when I was in Meiringen. I also visited along with that family the village Margaret came from before coming to the US. There I saw many Kehrli and Yegge graves side by side. I believe my family and yours is connected through time. I am now 71 and live in Newberg and my sister 88 lives in Forest Grove. My contact is added here. I can so clearly see both Marguerite and Esther as they laughed and talked when they came to weddings and funerals in my family. Love Linda
