Matthew Caster Obituary
Matthew John Caster, 41, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
Matt was born June 26, 1980. He was the son of John and Lois Caster also of Canonsburg.
He and his wife Jillian were residing in Erie, and both worked as professors in Gannon University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Matt was the grandson of the late Richard and Sophie Caster and the late Tony and Sophia Kroll.
Matt is survived by his wife of 8 beautiful years, Jillian Caster; his parents: John and Lois Caster; siblings: Kristen Hannan and Adam Caster; nieces: Ayda Caster and Elena Krofcheck; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues.
Matt was the nicest person you would ever meet and a friend to everyone. He loved spending time with his close friends and family, staying active, enjoying the outdoors, and doing everything he could to save the planet.
Matt was kind and caring to each of his physical therapy patients and an exceptional mentor to his students. His calm, humble, loving presence will be missed by all.

Friends received from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA; where a Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree to honor this great man, loyal friend, wonderful son and brother, and irreplaceable husband.
