Graveside service for Willie McGhee, 75, of Valley, AL, will be 1:00 p.m. (EST), Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Fairview Cemetery, Valley, Alabama 36854, Reverend Robert Carter will officiate.
Mr. McGhee, who passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at his home in Valley, Alabama, was born June 12, 1946, in Chambers County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, November 26, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (EST), at Harris Funeral Home. (Facial covering is required)
He leaves to cherish his memory: six children, Sharon (Major) Gooden of Virginia Beach, VA, Quentin McGhee of Atlanta, GA, Mariette (William) Moody of Beulah, AL, Stacy Johnson of West Point, GA, Timothy (Tammy) Shephard of LaGrange, GA and Richard (Mia) Crim of Valley, AL; three sisters, Josephine (Leonard) Myhand of Bessemer, AL, Cindy (Albert) Autry and Charlotte Sharpe both of Valley, AL; three brothers, Lonnie McGhee of Atlanta, GA, Reverend Joe Calvin McGhee of Valley, AL and Curtis (Dottie) Swanson of San Bernardino, CA; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three devoted friends, Dennis Thomas, Nathaniel Harper and Bruce Wilkerson all of Valley, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
