Nicholas Andrew Palkovich

September 1, 1968 - February 3, 2025

Crown Point, Ind. - Nicholas Andrew Palkovich, 56, of Crown Point, Ind., passed away at 11:53 p.m. Monday (February 3, 2025).

He was born September 1, 1968 in East Chicago, Indiana, the son of Andrew and Grace (Nommenson) Palkovich.

Nicholas graduated from Griffith High School in 1986. After he graduated high school he pursued a career as a paper recycling supervisor, and married Carrie Bunch.

Nicholas was an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox. He loved vacationing in Florida and Mexico, and most of all spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are the love of his life Carrie Palkovich, Crown Point, Indiana, his two children Gabrielle and Gianna Palkovich of Crown Point, Indiana, his brother Nathan Palkovich of Crown Point, Indiana, his nieces Alexis and Amanda Palkovich, Maggie and Lilly Stetten, and his two great nephews Crew and Riggs Camalick.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother.

The family would like to give a special thank you to those who were able to visit Nick throughout this past year; as well as to Dunes Hospice and Crown Point Christian Village for the care provided during Nick's last final months.

Direct Cremation took place at Crown Crematory in Crown Point, Indiana and a private ceremony will be held at a later date for the family.
