Shalik Burkhead Obituary

Shalik F. Burkhead Jr was born August 25. 2001 to Ayanna E. Hill and Shalik F Burkhead. Shalik departed this life on April 5, 2022.
He was known as Sha, Sha Money, Spazz, Sha Sha, Bonnie or Wooda. He was employed at Amazon. Shalik started his education in the Paterson school system at PS#28, Community Charter, John P Holland and then Eastside High. He later moved to Georgia where he graduated from Skyview High School.
Shalik was so respectful. He had a beautiful soul and his smile would light up a room. He displayed love at all times. Sha Sha loved his video games and sports such as basketball, running track for Eastside, baseball, football and soccer. He also loved to draw and was very good at it.
Most of his time was spent with his brother Yah'zier and his cousins at Dhonda's house. Although Shalik's life was short lived he got to see different parts of the world while traveling with his mom and the Carter family. Shalik's relationship with his mother was unmatched. He had the utmost respect for her. His mom lived for him. Their love for each other was unconditional.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Bernadette Hill, grandfather Vernon Betts, grandfather Shelley Burkhead and his uncle Vernon Saheed Hill.
He leaves to cherish loving memories his mother; Ayanna Hill, his father; Shalik Burkhead, his grandmother Dorothy Hogan great grandmother Anne Williams, sister Ahna, brother Adrian, brother Yah'zier.
