Robert Frank Marshall, Sr peacefully fell asleep in Christ on the evening of Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 at his home. He was surrounded by family. Bob was born on April 27 1949 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, the youngest son of William and Elizabeth Marshall. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife Lynn Marshall, his brother William Marshall and wife Joyce, along with his children: son Robert Marshall Jr. and Andrea and their children Jill and Eric; daughter Beverly Grubbs and her children Jacob, Maddison, and Dylan; son Christopher Marshall and Nicki and their children Alison Ulmer and husband Paul, Megan Shockey and husband Trevor, and Zachary; daughter Esther Kane and her husband Joshua and their children Jeremiah and Abigail; son Jason Marshall and wife Jennifer and their children Jason Jr., Matthew, and Caleb; daughter Rebekah Kane and husband Jonathan and their children Isaac, Esther, Andrew, and Melody; and foster children Miranda, Jason, and Justin Mihalik. Bob's love for his family, his humor, his unshakeable faith, and his heart for service will be remembered by all who knew him. Bob's tireless work in his churches, and the homeless ministry in Philadelphia were the great joys of his life after faithfully serving his family and friends. His legacy of Christian ministry and faithful friendship lives on in the children, grandchildren, friends, and family who all bear his fingerprints upon their lives. Bob's favorite Scripture was Isaiah 40:28-31 "28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. 30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; 31 but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." While he will be dearly and deeply missed, his family rejoices in the knowledge that Bob can finally rest and is now satisfied, beholding Christ with an unveiled face. We will meet up again at the resurrection Bobby; first row, second chair. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday April 9th, at Jacobstown Baptist Church, 49 Jacobstown Arneytown Rd, Wrightstown, NJ friends may call between 10-11AM. Services for relatives and close friends will be held at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bobby's name to: Cast your Cares Ministry, at https://castyourcares.org/.
