Richard Jelani Bowen, also known as "Buddy", "Pu$h", "Legs", and "Rich", was born on May 4, 1991, to Monica T. Clarke, and Richard S. Bowen.
Let me tell you about Buddy: He was a genuine old soul. He was a good person, incredibly positive and outgoing. He loved his family very much and saw the best in everything. He was known as "Mr. I Can Do Anything."
Anything Buddy put his mind to, he did wholeheartedly. He started his own business "Push Productions LLC" in 2021. With doing that, he pursued his passion of making art such as studio recording, physical fitness, dance, art, yoga, and meditation. He was determined to succeed not only for himself, but for his 5-year-old daughter, Riley. Despite his past battles, he came out on top and inspired those around him.
On Thursday March 24, 2022, Buddy departed this life. He was found unresponsive in his home. Despite the best efforts of his youngest brother and emergency personnel, he passed away at the hospital soon after.
"Buddy" was predeceased by his grandmother Velda Bowen-Fenty, grandfather Darnley Rock, aunts Melina and Deanna Clarke and Uncle Dexter Clarke.
Richard "Buddy" Bowen leaves precious memories to his daughter; Riley-Faye, mother; Monica T. Clarke, father; Richard S. Bowen, siblings; Sasha Lorde, Rachelle Bowen, Niessa Bowen, Manny and Taylor Bowen, Josh and Kayla Bowen, and Livingstone (Livi) Bowen, his nephew, and nieces; Nicholie Bowen, Alexis Bowen, Milani Bowen, his grandparents, and 2 new additions. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
