Remigio "Remy" Perez Sr. went to be with his Lord on November 21, 2021 at 1:44am at Mills Peninsula Hospital in Burlingame, California after a 17-year battle with heart disease.

Remigio "Remy" Perez was born on October 27, 1937 in Macabebe, Pampanga, Philippines. He was the eldest of 10 siblings birthed by Jesus Sr. and Maria Paz Perez. He is survived by his wonderful wife of 60 years, Teresita, 9 loving children, Wilma (Husband; Angelo) Willy (Wife; Shiela) Colette (Husband; Jim), Danny (Wife, Pamela), Annalota (Husband; Regino), Mary Grace (Husband; Rodney), Remigio Jr., Elynar (Wife; Jonalyn), and Lowella (Husband; Irving), and 20 beautiful grandchildren, Apple, MaryAnn Camille, Ryan, Nichole, Kat, Nikko, Jasmine Janae, Sean Michael, Abreanne, Kelsy Ann, La Rica, Daphne Lauren, Nathan Isaiah, Nicholas Jordan, Danielle Janae, Tristan, Achilles Miguel, Devon Elias, Daniel and Lucas Reign.

Remy married his wife, Teresita, a beautician, seamstress and homemaker on August 27, 1961 while he worked as a self-educated truck mechanic and bus driver for his province in Pampanga.

On June 27, 1982, Remy, Tess and their children migrated to the United States to live the "American Dream". Less than a year of being in the states, Remy landed a job as an Operations Clerk for the Great American Trading Company, where he enjoyed his job, and his colleagues. After 20 years, at the age of 65, Remy retired to enjoy traveling to and from the Philippines, where he was inspired to build his retirement life.

Remy loved sports. In his younger years, he loved to play ping-pong and basketball. In his free time, he loved to watch the NBA, mostly the Lakers and the Warriors as he sat in front of the TV enjoying his favorite whiskey. He also loved Giants baseball, boxing, and of course the San Francisco Forty-Niners.

In addition to his love for sports, we can never forget his admiration for music and food. He had a true taste of eclectic music and good, good eats. In his last years of life, he expressed his love for life through indulging in his favorite food and singing. Food was his love language, and music was his inspiration.

Remy's love and inspiration exuded through his adoration for his family.

A great husband, brother, uncle, friend, father and grandfather. The patriarch of the family. Deeply respected for raising 9 wonderful children, and a hard-working man, Remy is at rest knowing his greatest achievement was his craft of molding a beautiful bond with his wife, children and grandchildren.
