Nicholas Stanley Obituary

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce Nicholas Michael "Gicki" Stanley, age 25, our beloved son, amazing brother, family member and friend, passed away suddenly and went to join his brother on May 24th, 2022 while in the hospital. Nicholas was born on March 3, 1997 in Morrisville. His loss will be deeply felt by his mother, Mary Stridsberg of Bolton; his father and stepmother, James and Sondra Stanley of Waterbury; Brothers Jamie White of Wasington; Aiden Vilbrin of Bolton; and sister Elizabeth Wilder of Middlesex; Grandparents Nancy Stanley of Waterbury, Michael Stridsberg of Virginia, and Peter Jones of Barre; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his older brother Joshua Stanley, and his grandfather Thurman "Bucky" Stanley and grandmother Alice Jones.
Nicholas took great pride in his work as a landscaper. His amazing spirit and big heart will live on through the many family and friends he leaves behind. His warmth and love for his family radiated through him as he always made sure everyone else was taken care of. Nicholas so loved his dog Beau, and cherished all of his many friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snow machining, going mudding, or anything he could find to do outdoors. He was fun, silly and an absolute joy to be around.
There will be a small graveside service on June 25th, 2022, in the Berlin Corner Cemetery, followed by a celebration of his life at his home in Bolton.
