Nancy Adams Obituary

Nancy Jean Adams age 85, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 as the result of an automobile accident



She was born in Erie, on April 16, 1936 a daughter of the late Raymond and Arlene Burgess Wurst.



Nancy was graduate of Rice Avenue Union High School in Girard. She worked in the office at Marx Toys and as a machine operator at Beach Wood Industries.



Nancy loved going out to eat with her husband at many local Girard and Lake City restaurants. She volunteered at the Girard-Lake City Christian Cupboard in memory of her son, Mark. She was a member of the Silver Sneakers at the Nautilus for many years. She was a former member of the Girard Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed showing horses with her sister.



In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Mark Adams in 2019 and her children Mark J. Adams in 1990, Raymond Floyd and Colleen Adams at an early age, and her brother in law Donald Eagley.



She is survived by a sister, Marlene Eagley, a niece, Chris (Eric) Carlson, and two nephews Raymond (Melissa) Eagley, Don (Chris Macwhirter) Eagley; great aunt to: Laura (David) Schach and Lucas; Sara (Jeff) Caron and McKenna; Jenna Carlson; Tanner (Jerian) Eagley Palmer and Waylon; Madeline Eagley; and Evan Eagley.



Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, in Girard on Monday at 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm, followed by burial at Girard Cemetery.
