Mary Morris Obituary

Mary Patricia Morris, 96, of Conneaut lake and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community, died there, Friday, January 21, 2022.
She was born September 23, 1925 in Erie a daughter of Robert Shear and Mary Ruth Terrill Herrington. She married Granville J. Morris March 30, 1946 and he preceded her in death September 15, 2011.
She was a graduate of Meadville High School and worked in the Crawford County Assessment Office retiring in 1990. She was a long-time member of the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake and was an avid bridge and 500 card player with her Conneaut Lake Ladies Card Club.
She is survived by three daughters, Beth Bommarito (Richard) of Birmingham, MI, Sue Ellen Blount (John) of McKean and Jan Marie Ganley of Wake Forest, NC; three grandchildren, Heather Croy, Michelle Roberts and Michael Ganley; five great grandchildren, Alex Timblin, Maggie Roberts, Jenny Roberts, Lance Croy and Caroline Croy; three great great grandchildren, Daisy Rose, Skylar and Grace and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, James Aaron Roberts and three sisters, Ruth Strouss, Jean Jordan and Jeannette Herrington.
Calling hour will be Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake, 145 S. Fifth Street. The memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Sam Heagy, Pastor, officiating.
