Marlene attended Little Flower Catholic School, Escambia High School and Troy State throughout her younger years.
She attended Little Flower Catholic Church and later became of a member of St. Rose of Lima.
She had been an LPN/Medical Auditor for the past 30+ years. She was very proud of her two children and absolutely adored her grandsons.
She is preceded in death by her parents and Theresa Jane Pileggi.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Daniel Barrow and Amy Louise Obassi; grandsons, Jordan Christie, Jayden Harrison, Jacob Harrison, Antonie Obassi and Theodore Obassi; son in law, Roger Obassi; daughter in law, Samantha Golden; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins as well as 10 siblings.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Sacred Heart Hospital for all their efforts to keep her with us and to Covenant Care for keeping her comfortable during her final days.
There will be a 10 a.m. graveside service held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Holy Cross Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Marlene's passing. We were in school together at Little Flower. My sympathies go out to her 2 children, grandchildren and other family.
