Geraldine Cvik Cannara Obituary

Geraldine "Geri" Cvik, 85, of Lakewood, N.J., passed away on December 23, 2021. A Private Family Catholic Prayer Service will be offered on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum,Arrangements are under the direction of Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland, N.J. Born in Newark, N.J. to the late Nazzareno and Marie Cannara, Geri lived with her family in Caldwell for 40 years and in Harvey Cedars for 20 years before settling in Lakewood the past 10 years. A homemaker, Geri was devoted to the care of her family. She loved to cook, and her family particularly enjoyed her Italian meals.She was especially happy when the family gathered together for holidays and at the beach. She will also be missed by the many stores she frequented as she was known as a world class shopper. We will all miss her sense of humor and her love.
Predeceased by her parents, and her beloved Uncle Vincent, Geri is survived by her husband, William J. Cvik, Jr.; children, William J. Cvik, III, and his partner, Terry Doss, Dawn Gilligan, and her husband, Peter, and Robert D. Cvik, and his wife, Alice; her grandchildren Taylor and Allison Gilligan, Dalton Gilligan, Tucker Gilligan, Gina and Brandon Williamson, Tracy Cvik and David Trank, Tim Cvik and Clara Cvik, and her one great-grandchild, Adilyn Rose Williamson.
