A most loving wife, mother, sister, and friend was called upon by the Lord on February 22, 2022 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
She was born on August 1st, 1942 in Mineral Hill, New Mexico to her parents Ramon and Albina Abeyta.
She is preceeded in death by her parents. Her brother Sam Abeyta. Her daughter Armella Edwards. Son Diego Romero. Granddaughter Amanda Johnson and Uncle Willie Trujillo.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Marvin Romero Sr. Daughters Yvette Johnson and Lynda Dominguez. Son Marvin Jr. (Tara Marino). Grandson Raymond Johnson (USAF). Great-grandkids Destiny and Mason Johnson. Sister
Marcella (Joe) Coca. Sister in Law Angie Abeyta and several nephews and nieces.
Georgiana graduated from West Las Vegas H.S. in 1961 where she was a band majorette and in the school choir. She later became a teacher for West Las Vegas Headstart where she touched the lives of many children in the school district.
Georgiana enjoyed collecting Native American art, pottery, and jewelry which she proudly displayed and wore.
Funeral mass will be on March 18th. 10:30am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church (1502 Sara Rd. Rio Rancho. NM) with a reception to follow at the Reception Hall.

Marvin-Lupe, you were always good to me growing up, more than my own blood relatives, as was Georgiana, you gave me my first car, a '61 Chevy, and some LP records (I still have them), I will always be grateful to you! Rest assured she is with The Creator and someday you will see her again! Blessings to you and your family!
