Obituary of Frank Buccini
Francis "Frank" Charles Buccini was an auto mechanic whose career spanned more than 50 years. He died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 2nd at the age of 74. He was born in Warren County, NJ on November 18, 1947, the son of late Primo and Lucille Buccini.
As the first of two children and losing his father at a young age, he spent his early years working on the family farm. As a teenager his love and passion for automobiles became something that would cement his career for his entire life. Becoming a full time mechanic after high school, Frank went on to own his own successful shop until retiring in 2017.
Frank met his wife Cheryl Williamson in 1978 on a blind date. The following year he proposed in true Frank fashion and they have been married for 43 years.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Cheryl Buccini; two daughters, Tracey Lenhart and her husband Kevin and Luci Rizzon and her husband Gage; three sons, Frank Buccini, Zachary Buccini and his wife Julia, and Alexander Buccini; sister Nancy Gregoris and her husband Dennis. Frank is also survived by his beloved 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends.
Frank wouldn't have wanted all this fuss over him but one thing he would want is for you to come as you are. Come in what makes you comfortable or we encourage you to wear a flannel shirt with blue jeans and boots just like he always did.
Family and friends are invited for memorial visitation on Thursday, March 10th from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service,
142 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. A service of remembrance will immediately follow the visitation hours at 4:00 pm in the funeral home. To send condolences to the family please visit, www.knolldevoefh.com
In Lieu of flowers, Frank's family asks for a donation be made to Common Sense for Animals 2420 NJ-57, Stewartsville, NJ 08886, , in his memory because he had deep love for dogs and they loved him.
