Eric J. Godwin, 38, of Cherry Hill, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at his residence.
Born in 1983 in Camden, NJ to Elmer G. "Reds" Godwin and the late Patricia Ann (Dickson) Godwin.
After high school, Eric attended Stockton College and graduated in 2007 with a degree in Psychology. He used his education to become a youth counselor at Jefferson Health in Cherry Hill. Eric was a real confidant to many people and was always available to help someone in need.
He loved to ride his motorcycle and was a huge sports fan, he loved all the Philadelphia teams.
He was predeceased by his mother; Patricia Ann Godwin.
Eric is survived by his father; Reds Godwin, his sister; Candace Marie Minnicks and her husband Michael, his grandmother; Phyllis Dickson, his nieces; Kayla and Kaitlyn, his nephew; Michael, as well as, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was also predeceased by his loving canine companion, Bella.
A memorial gathering will be Monday, January 24, 2021 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at the Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109. A memorial service will begin at 11:30am at the funeral home.

My heartfelt sympathy. Eric, you will be missed by me and so many. I am glad to have known you and to work beside you for almost 10 years. Er, i know i know I´m three weeks older than you! Hahahha. And I´ll always know you have my back. Rest in eternal peace. Go hang with Carl.
