Eleanor Ann Tucker, 86 of Seymour went to her eternal home June 22, 2022.
There will be no services held. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Eleanor will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her as a smart, humorous, hardworking, and proud woman. Her grandsons and others who really knew her described her as "one of the toughest women they'd ever known." Eleanor made her final home in her favorite town of Seymour. She always said, even in her travels, that Seymour was "home". Eleanor enjoyed time spent with her friends, family, children, grand- children and great grand-children. Ellie, as many knew her, was not only a mother to her children, but to countless other kids whom she loved as her own. She always welcomed them into her home anytime. Fishing, a good game of dominos, The Pittsburgh Steelers & the Boomer Sooners were always favorite past times. Eleanor had a strong work ethic, a strong will, and a quick wit. She loved Jeopardy and took pride in the fact that she often knew more than the contestants. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Tracy Haller (Craig) of Beloit, Kansas, Dominica Hodge (Matt) of Wichita Falls, Tx, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Audrey Walund of Redding California.
