Eldhose was no stranger to other cultures and loved to learn about them. He grew up in the country of Oman, then emigrated to the United States as a teenager. Despite the struggles and challenges of assimilation, he was proud to become a U.S. citizen and pursue higher education here. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology and Cognitive Neuroscience at Temple University, then his Medical Degree at Penn State College of Medicine. After completing his residency in Anesthesiology at Stony Brook University Medical Center, where he met his co-resident and future wife Dr. Aimee Pak, he pursued fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Emory University. He was a well-respected, compassionate, and skilled physician. He served as both the Clinical Director and Fellowship Director of the Chronic Pain Division within the Department of Anesthesiology at Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center and OU Health, and was a brilliant and incredible teacher.
Eldhose is survived by his loving wife, Aimee, his son, Michael, parents Baby Thekkethottiyil and Leela Baby, and sister Georgea Thekkethottiyil. He was a devoted husband and father, and a loving son to his parents. Although Eldhose's life was short in years, it was full of vibrant experiences, travel, and exploration. He was a man of integrity and fierce love for his family. He will be dearly missed.
A service to remember and celebrate the life of Dr. Abrahams will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 9:00AM at Crawford Family Funeral Service in Edmond. Services will be made available here on Dr. Abrahams obituary page, just prior to services beginning.

I had the pleasure of working with Doctor Abrahams at OU.
I was getting one of his patients ready for a procedure. I always take off my eye glasses to start an IV. I set the glasses on the patient´s room table. Doctor Abraham walks in to have the patient sign consent for the procedure and hands the patient my eye glasses. Patient said those aren´t mine . I told the Doctor why are you trying to give my glasses away. He looked so surprised. We all started laughing.
I will always remember him for his compassion and kindness.
