Elaine was a homemaker and Rodney was a life-long plumber. They met at Vandalia-Butler High School and loved their children sons, Rodney and Nicholas.
Elaine was preceded in death by her father, David Lee Duncan. Rodney was preceded in death by his step-father, Wilbur "Gene" Hall.
Elaine is survived by her mom, Helen Duncan; her sons, Rodney Helman Jr. and Nicholas Helman; her siblings, David (Joanne) Duncan, Diana (Jon) Young, and Liz (Steve) Packer; and brother-in-law, Lee Kunz
Rodney is survived by his mother, Barbara Taylor; his half-sibling, Jodi (Jai) Hall; his cousin Regina Crosley; his nephew Zakk Crosley and niece, Krystal Johnson, and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held privately.
