David K. Ott, of Deptford, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was 61.
Dave was born in Camden, NJ and was raised in Westmont, NJ until marrying the love of his life and moving to Westville, NJ. They spent 40 years in Westville and raised their family until recently moving to Deptford.
Dave had an amazing sense of humor and was a great guy to be around. He always kept everyone laughing day in and day out. He was the best "Pop-pop" ever and loved going to his grandchildren's baseball games and truly loved babysitting them.
He worked for Comcast for over 20 years and was happy to be everyone's "Cable Guy". He was always helping family and friends with repairs and installations. He would do anything he could to help out.
He is the beloved husband of Cheryl Ott (Bailey); loving father of Christine Kostick (Jonathon) and the late Joshua David Ott; adored "Pop-Pop" to Mackenzie and Jonathon Kostick, Jr.; cherished brother of Carol Fabiano (Louis), Debbie Bello (Pasquale), Charles Ott (Rachel) and Matthew Ott (Rebecca); dear brother-in-law to Cathy Santanello and Steven Bailey; favorite unc le to many nieces and nephews and friend to many.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Washington Township, 573 Egg Harbor Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage https://www.vaonj.org/

Just learned of Dave's departure; I am stunned. Dave & I were co-workers at DiLisio's in Cherry Hill for a few years. A great guy who was truly amicable to all and became friends with my whole family as a result. He had a terrific sense of humor & an infectuous laugh to go along with it ! It's been years since I last saw both Dave & Cheryl- both had a positive effect on me when we were all much younger. God speed to ya, David. You were one of a kind, truly.

Dave was a great man and we will miss him. Those of us that had the pleasure of working with him for so many years, have many wonderful memories of him and our time together. Praying for him and his family. God bless you all !
