Charles Peoples Obituary

My deepest sympathies to the family of Charles. I met him and worked with him at RTG , Savannah. He was a great friend, forever the comedian. He will be surely missed.

Charles was one of a kind. Charles put joy and laughter in everyone´s life that he came in contact with. I´m reminded of a time when Charles and a few of our coworkers at Rtg was going out to get something to eat. He asked me if I was coming and I told him no because I wanted to go home to eat my wife good cooking. Charles asked in a jokingly way again, are you sure because you are going to miss out and he started laughing. So I went home and you know,,etc, I came to work the next day and I told Charles what had happened and I was like disappointed. Charles turned around and said to everybody, guess what REDD had for dinner. He told everybody that I turned down going out to get a hot meal for a cold hot dog left in the pot. He found humor in a situation that I had not found to be funny. Thank you for all the years of laughter. You will be missed. My sincere condolences to the family.

My sincerest condolences to all of Charles´s family and friends. I learned a lot from Charles and am honored to have known him.
