Audrey Rose Cavanagh, 96, passed away on March 2, 2022 at Brighton Gardens in Mountainside, where she had resided for the last 9 years. Audrey was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Margaret Nichols. She was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School.
Audrey worked as a Bond Trading Administrator with JP Morgan & Co. in Manhattan for sixteen years before retiring in 1992.
She was predeceased by her husband, Francis J. Cavanagh, who died in 1975, and her brother Francis Nichols, who died in 2011. She is survived by her sons, Gerard Cavanagh of Long Beach, NY and Kenneth M. Cavanagh of Westfield, NJ; and by her grandsons, Kenneth F. Cavanagh of Los Angeles, CA and James Cavanagh of Westfield, NJ.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 6th from 2-5PM at Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Ave., Westfield. A Prayer Service will conclude the visitation at 5PM.
Interment at Long Island National Cemetery will be private.
