Rosemary Streich Obituary
She is survived by her husband Otto of 55 years, son Eric (Lauren) Streich, daughter Cathy (Rene) Rogenmoser and grandchildren Simon Rogenmoser, Will Streich and Shelby Streich. Also survived by brothers Otto (Emi) Portmann, Bill Portmann, Pete (Chris) Portmann, Joe (Robin) Portmann, sisters Gerry (Joe) Deiringer and Kate (Dick) Pierce; sister-in-laws Jeanette Bosson and Rosie (Richard) Francisco. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was an Executive Secretary at Boeing in Washington where she grew up and then at IBM in San Jose when she moved to California. After she raised her children, she was an Administrative Secretary for the Morgan Hill Unified School District for 29+ years.

I worked with Rosemary at Jackson Elem School. she was incredibly efficient and organized. Before we had phones in our classes, she would filed calls from my kids (when they were young, latchkey kids), settle their arguments, usually without my even having to walk to the office. Plus, I'll never forget her amazing almond cake.

I am saddened to hear of Rosemary's passing. Many memories for us Kaelin family and the Portmann family...especially the friendship of our mothers as Rosemary liked to remind me when we would see each other. All good memories...my sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Otto, Eric and Cathy and their families. I will treasure the friendship that was shared by Rosemary and myself.
