Ethel Donohue Obituary

Ethel Frances Donohue, of Holyoke, MA, passed on to eternal life on March 1, 2022 at the age of 94. A graduate of Holyoke High School and the Providence Hospital School of Nursing, Ethel was a Registered Nurse who worked in Holyoke for many years. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William David Donohue, and her parents, Thomas and Lillian (Kennedy) Griffin. She is survived by six children, eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will all miss her. Ethel’s family is especially grateful to Tamika and Dee, her caregivers, who assisted her for the last six years. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial for Ethel on Friday, March 18th at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Cross Parish Church, Holy Cross Avenue, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery, 2140 Northampton Street. There are no calling hours and the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
