Frank Quinn Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we share that Frank J. Quinn (mostly known as Jack Quinn) died on July 6th, 2025 in Vero Beach, Florida. The son of John Frank Quinn and Helen Marie Quinn, Jack was born on May 14,1938 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He attended Fairfield Prep, earned a B.S. in Economics from Fairfield University, he did his graduate work at Keene State College and continued his love of learning throughout his life. Jack lived a life filled with purpose, projects, kindness, helpfulness and great love for his many family members.

A passionate Eagle Scout, wildlife enthusiast, lifelong birder, college athlete, English teacher, back-to-the-land farmer, Shakespeare fanatic, newspaper publisher, co-founder of the Battenkill Valley Runners Club, and an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Vero Beach, Florida, Jack will be remembered as a man with many skills, talents and interests.

He is survived by his wife Mickey Moore, five children: Todd Quinn (Sabine), Katherine Stauffer (Adam), Betsy Quinn-Keating, Kelsey Moore-Quinn (Jeff), and Joey Moore-Quinn (Adam) and twelve grandchildren: Daniella and Ryan Quinn; August, Clara, Edward, George, and Imogen Stauffer; Riley, Delaney, Bridey, and Darcey Keating; Hannah Gordon, and one great-grandchild, Lochlan Keating. Also, by his two sisters Bunny Fowler and Ronnie Redman and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. Jack will be deeply missed, but would be pleased to know he leaves behind a whole tribe of people who have his "can do" attitude, believe most things can be fixed, and go out of their way to help others.

Jack was a huge supporter of the Manchester Lions Club and the Maple Leaf Marathon. We could always count on Jack to help take care of the runners. He talked of family often and how much he was looking forward to spending more time with them when he went to Florida. Rest in peace "Jack".
