Gray, Georgia - Graveside Services for Deacon Charlie Mercer will be held 11AM Saturday, July 2, 2022 at New Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Wilbur Greene will officiate. Mr. Mercer, 85, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022.
Survivors include his wife, Gloriasteen Mercer; six children; Cynthia D. Hill, Jeannettia (Glenn, Sr.,) Ford, Travis (Cynthia) Mercer, Patrick (Carlisia) Axom, Walter (Leigha) Axom, Jr., Felice (Rasool) Saleem; two sisters; two brothers; twenty-five grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 from 4 - 5PM ONLY. SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE MANDATORY AND FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Jones Brothers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
