Ramona Coughlin Obituary

Ramona Coughlin (nee: Zdanowski), 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2022. She was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. Ramona was a graduate of Bayonne High School and retired from Pamrapo Savings Bank as Bank Secretary. Ramona was a member and past president of the Bayonne Chapter of Deborah Hospital. She also worked tirelessly volunteering at and supporting the St. Vincent's Food Pantry. Ramona is predeceased by her beloved husband Vincent, her son Michael, her father Anthony, her mother Stephanie, and her sister Janet. Ramona was a wonderful mother to 9 children, daughters, Mary Wilhelm (Steve), Anne Wzorek (Joeseph), Barbara Kubert (Michael), sons, Vincent, Joseph (Darlene), Thomas (Christine), Robert (Patricia), and Timothy (Mary). Gram, as she was known to her 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Ramona is survived by her dear sister Barbara Kohlbecker (Herb) and her brother Anthony (Nanette). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her caregiver and companion, Nerissa. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 4 - 8 PM at the G. Keenen O'Brien Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, April 27 at 10 AM at St. Vincent's RC Church, Bayonne. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Vincent's Food Pantry or The Alzheimer's Association (envelopes will be available at the funeral home).
