We never met, but this morning I learned about his story and heard his words: "You get a whole lot of butterflies to flap their wings."
I felt so moved by this, I donated my own little "butterfly grant" to UNICEF. I hope his family knows that even to this day, Chris Rosati is still having an effect on this world, and his kindness is still making waves.

I was out of the country when Sun. Today aired Chris's passing. I have seen previous segments on the deep love and warmth he displayed in his life. I sobbed today when I realized Chris has passed. I'M SO SADDENED and sorrowful for all his friends and family. He was one of a kind man...how blessed his wife/daughters and all his family were to have had him in their lives. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jane Woods, Edmond, OK

While I did not have the good fortune to meet Chris, he touched my life deeply. The 2014 CBS story came out about the same time that my brother was diagnosed with ALS. I found his Facebook page and started following him and watching him on his journey with this disease. Like my brother, Chris chose to do something positive in the face of such a hideous disease. Chris made a difference in this life and the world is a better place because he was in it. The butterfly effect of Chris Rosati lives on!

My thoughts are with Chris' family and friends. He will truly be missed.

To the Rosati family,

What a special man and what a wonderful legacy he has left us. After watching and learning his story and his mission I can tell you many of us need to search a little deeper into ourselves. He has set a standard that will test most of us. I am so sorry for your loss. May time bring you peace. My thoughts remain with you.

I came to know Chris through email as he rented my lake house. Chris had a special place in my heart, even though I never met him in person. Mrs. Rosati, please let me know if I can help.

I want totake a moment and express my condolences for Chris' family. I first "met" Chris on the CBS Mowning Show. What an amazing person! I so wish I could have met him. He has been an inspiration to me and I can only hope to live up to his example of living one's life to the fullest and thinking if others' happiness. If only there were more people like him, think of what we could do for others.
