Lorrie Shroads, 97, of Colorado Springs, CO, died December 8, 2023, of Alzheimer's disease.
Born in Cambridge, NY, in 1926, Lorrie attended high school in Wickenburg, AZ, before attending Colorado Women's College and the University of Arizona. In 1952, Lorrie married Richard Carson Shroads. She became a charter member of the Assistance League of Colorado Springs, serving for 55 years.
Preceded in death by her husband, Richard Carson Shroads. Survived by her daughter, Sandi Shroads (Frank Actis), and Frank's grown children, Tony, Lisa and Kevin Actis.
Celebration of Life service: January 20, 2024; 1pm; Unity Spiritual Center in the Rockies; 1945 Mesa Rd; 80904. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Assistance League of Colorado Springs, or Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
