I was just doing a random search for my childhood friend Shelly only to find that Scotty had passed. Crazy part is my husband worked with him at United for 30+ years! My condolences to the family.

A day or a week doesn’t go buy without someone mentioning Scott and a memory of him here at work. Our birthdays were only several days apart, “so, here we are again Scott” I would say. And this year I still said said it as I probably will every year remembering Scotty.

Shocked and saddened to hear of Scotty’s passing. I played hockey for many years with Scott on the Old Puckers. I have great memories of hanging with Scott during our hockey nights. Scott was the only guy I knew who could play a whole game and never sweat. I always used to kid him that he must be some kind of alien. But the truth was. He was just cool. Easy going , relaxed , easy to talk to.. just a solid human being and a peaceful soul. Thoughts and prayers are with Diane and the kids. God Bless.

We are thankful for many years with Scott - he led the pack on the annual Santa Run/Walk, was always game for Dianne’s elaborate Halloween costumes, celebrated 4th of July dinners with the dogs romping around us, and, last year he treated us to dinner at Mama’s! His loss leaves a hole in our hearts and we are forever grateful for these and other shared memories.

So so sorry to hear the news. Scotty was a wonderful easy going guy. I met him in the late 70s when we skated together at Clayton Valley skatepark. And reconnected with him many years later when we were teammates on a roller hockey team the Old Puckers. Hurts to know that a wonderful human has left us.

Scott will be remembered as someone that loved working in aviation and someone that enjoyed life to it's fullest. He'll be greatly missed as Quality Control Inspector that wasn't afraid to take on any challenge. His passion for outdoors was on display year-round. He always loved to reminiscent about playing hockey in Europe and the concerts we attended. A life taken away way too soon until we meet again in a concert hall in heaven.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Scott was a good man, long time friend and coworker for over 30 years. He was always willing to help someone in need. He will be missed by everyone who truly knew him. I’m sure the good Lord has a special place for Scott, may he rest in peace.

We shared many a moment atop a 747 laughing and working hard of course. Respectfully, calling each other Ace and Goose for 35 years. Scotty was one hell-of-a-guy. His soothing calm voice and warm spirit lightened every moment of a United day. Rest well Ace, you will be missed.

I am very sorry to hear of Scott´s passing! Scott and I worked together at United Airlines for many years. He was hard working and a great asset to the Quality Control Dept at United. His numerous inspection skills made him the person to go to when time was of the essence. Scott was knowledgeable, approachable and most of all a good friend! I will miss his friendship and stories about his love for outdoor living!! RIP!!

I have fortunately had a long great friendship with Scott for 40 years. I met him through Ross while we were in high school. We had so much fun skiing with them at Sierra Ski Ranch and Sugar Bowl Ski Ranch in our teens. I would try to keep up with Scott on Mount Hood, however nearly impossible. He was great at so many things. He was a great husband, father and friend to us all. He made us laugh so much. I don’t think I ever saw Scott get really mad since he always had a great attitude. He also lived life to its fullest in so many ways. I will never forget the great times we had.
God bless you Scott, I love you.

It was shocking to hear about Scott. He was a very nice & respectful young man who I had the opportunity to know and watch him grow and develop into a respectful son, loving husband, and devoted father. He will be missed.
