Vicky passed away on August 8, 2022 surrounded by family, after a long courageous battle with multiple health issues.
Vicky was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 11, 1953, to Jennylyn and Joel Larnel Miller. She married James (Jim) Turner in 1979. They were blessed with three children, Jimmy, Tracy and Jason. Vicky was a loving wife, mother sister and grandmother. She loved spending time with family. Some of her favorite things were music and motorcycle rides with Jim. Vicky was always ready for a "good party".
After she graduated from SLCC, she worked with Youth Corrections for over 20 years. With her huge heart and caring spirit, she was always willing and able to give love and support to everyone around her. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the many wonderful caregivers who took great care of, and looked after Vicky the last few years. Vicky, always said, "They are like Family".
Vicky is preceded in death by her husband James W. Turner; father Joel Larnel Miller, Sister Brenda Miller. She is survived by her mother, JennyLyn Martin, three children; James (Brenda) Turner, Tracy (Andrew) Asson, Jason (Chelsea) Turner, and sisters; Connie (Jay) Harris, DeNice (Dan) Magana, Janell (Mac) Miller, Joan Berman (Kevin Enniss) and Brother Mike Miller.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home located at 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah.

I have missed my wonderful and caring friend Vic since her health issues changed her so much. My love to her family who has lost such a cheerleader to all of them. Love to Jason, Tracey, and Jimmy who have lost a mother who always loved them and wanted the best for all of them. Vic, you will be missed!
