Matthew Schultz Obituary

Matthew Arnold Schultz, 58, of Riverside County, passed away at Loma Linda Medical Center as a result of an unexpected illness on November 2, 2021. He is survived by his mother, Bettie Schultz, of Corona, California; and siblings, Mark Schultz, of Corona, California; Anne Sturdevant, of Alamagordo, New Mexico; and Marie Malloy, of Mentone, California. Matt was born in Michigan to Ray and Bettie Schultz and moved to California as a young child. He grew up in Fountain Valley, California,and attended Los Amigos high school. He loved music and was an accomplished guitarist. He also loved the outdoors and frequently disappeared to go camping. Another of Matt's passions was woodworking, as anyone lucky enough to be gifted with one of his beautiful creations can attest.

I am so saddened to read of your terrible loss. The Schultz family took in my sister Laurie and me many years ago during a very difficult time in our own lives.
