David Price Obituary

GREENVILLE -- David R. Price age 70, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 1:29 pm Monday, January 1, 2024, at his residence.

David was born September 21, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Benita M. (Holdren) Price of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and the late William J. Price. In addition to his father, David is also preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Osborne; and brother-in-law, Steve Rose.

David is survived by his daughters, Laura Price of Greenville, Ohio, Deven Price of Dayton, Ohio, and Shelby Price of Muncie, Indiana; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Ruth & Lloyd Robinson of Hiawatha, Iowa, Pamela Rose of Springville, Iowa, Sue & Kevin Marvin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dennis Price of Greenville, Ohio, Mary Price of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Dale & Paula Price of Greenville, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David served in the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver at Dick Lavy Trucking, Bradford, Ohio.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 7, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio. Fond memories and expression of sympathy may be shared at www.zecharbailey.com for the Price family.
