Julian Wood Obituary

Julian Lloyd Wood Camden - Julian Lloyd Wood, age 83, of Camden, NC, passed away at his home on Friday, July 25, 2025. Born in Suffolk, VA on March 7, 1942, to the late Joseph Lloyd Wood and Pattie Blanchard Wood, he was the widower of Billie Sawyer Wood.

Julian passed away, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and service. For over 20 years, he worked diligently as a printer for Morris and Piland Printing Company, where he was known for his exceptional skill and commitment to excellence. Julian honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, embodying the values of duty and sacrifice. His life was also marked by his faith, as he attended Camden Methodist Church. Julian's steadfast character and contributions to his community and country will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammie Campbell, and her significant other, Zac Ward; and his special family friends, Alison Harris (Chris), and their children, Jordan Harris and Madison Harris.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Twiford Memorial Chapel, with Chaplain Kevin Reiver officiating. A visitation was held at Twiford Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
